A little bit about us
Cottage Construction originated 40 years ago when James Jackson began doing fine custom woodworking on homes and boats in the Tampa Bay area. After moving to Atlanta ,he got involved in kitchen remodeling and historic renovation .
In 1991 he moved his family to the Richmond area and continued with remodeling and renovation work.

In 1991 he moved his family to the Richmond area and continued with remodeling and renovation work.
In 2004 , after 20 years of a wide variety of home and commercial work, he acquired a Class A General contractors license and established Cottage Construction , Inc. with his wife Barbara. As their children grew up, several of them developed an interest in construction and acquired skills for this work. 3 of the children became part of the company crew.
Today we have 5 of our family members and 2 additional workers in our work force, who provide superior construction services.
We have have been doing business in the Metro area for 21 years now, and have a strong client satisfaction to show for it .
